LISA PRICE
Carol's Daughter
President & Founder

Just as nature unveils her eternal rhythm of the seasons, the journey to becoming a successful businesswoman is an ongoing cycle of transformation. So it is with Lisa Price, the president and founder of Carol's Daughter, Inc., the Brooklyn, New York-based company launched in 1993 that produces a wide assortment of nature-inspired beauty products.   In August of 1994 Price officially established Carol's Daughter (the company lovingly named after her mother). Initially starting out with a handful of steady customers, those numbers grew in leaps and bounds as even those outside her neighborhood and circle of friends began to take notice. ESSENCE, the famed lifestyle magazine for African-American women, did a small piece on Price and her extraordinary products. Celebrities like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Erykah Badu, Rosie Perez and Halle Berry became loyal customers.
